SC CWP Class

South Carolina Concealed Weapons Class Our SC CWP class includes the NRA Basic Pistol course and SC state training requirements for a concealed carry permit. This makes a great combination for beginners, and avid gun shooters alike. The class includes instruction from NRA certified instructors, detailed information on the legal aspects of SC gun laws, a written test, and qualifying with a firearm on the outdoor range.  Drinks and snacks will be provided during the course. Lunch will be the responsibility of each student. Course Goals: To teach the basic knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for the safe and proper use of handguns in accordance with the laws of South Carolina. Course Lessons:

• Safety and Safe gun handling
• Knowledge of revolvers and semi-auto pistols
• Ammunition knowledge
• Fundamentals of shooting a pistol
• Skills relating to controlling the handgun while shooting
• How to clean and care for guns / storage and transportation
• South Carolina gun laws

General Course Information:

Total Course Cost: $85.00   payable in advance.

The class is approximately 10 hours in length.

Owning a handgun is NOT a requirement for taking the class. Various revolvers will be available for you. You may bring a handgun and 50 rounds of ammunition for the range, but neither will be allowed in the classroom. If you don’t own a handgun, we will provide a .38 cal. S & W revolver to qualify with.
